Titanium is one of the hardest metals known but it can, and will, scratch with normal everyday wear. As with all jewellery titanium jewellery must be treated with care.
A water-resistant watch that has a specific depth, indicated on the dial or case/back, can be used for various types of water activity, provided that the crown is fully screwed in and the buttons of the watch are not pressed in during the immersion of the watch into water. If these guidelines are not adhered to, the watch is not covered by the guarantee. In watch description, water-resistance followed by a rating (e.g. 50m) refers to a pressure test and does not signify a diving depth.
- “30m” splashproof only – not suitable for swimming
- “50m” is suitable for swimming in light conditions.
- “100m” is suitable for surf swimming or water skiing but not scuba diving.
- “200m” is suitable for scuba diving.
Damage to the glass, case, strap, bracelet stem and crown due to any accidental impact, or due to the watch being dropped or exposed to corrosive chemical substance cannot be guaranteed.
Furthermore, damage resulting from poor handling is also not covered.
The movement is covered for a period of one year from the date of purchase against any defaults in manufacture that may cause to the watch to lose time or stop. Damage caused by any external forces due to the incorrect use or tampering of the case-back or seal by any party other than the authorise agents, will make the guarantee null and void.
